Alessandro Calabrese

Also known as “phaze Project,” Alessandro Calabrese is one of the brightest talents in the modern french house music scene. With several releases on Club Coral, Irma Dancefloor and Disco Future Records, it was only a matter of time before the German producer featured on The French Shuffle.

But, what about Calabrese’s sound? The best way to describe it is a smooth blend of summertime disco and relaxed funk.

Butyreux

French house act, Butyreux, is no stranger to The French Shuffle, having featured for Everybody (Camaro Kids Remix) and Jaguar in the past. More recently, the producer released new music via So French Records, continuing with a soulful swing of disco energy and bright sounds.

Trust us, you won’t be disappointed, especially if you listen to any artists from So French Records, Yunizon or Roulé.

This list wouldn’t be complete without an appearance from UK-based DJ/producer, Go Go Bizkitt!. You can usually find the prolific act creating soothing disco, upbeat french house or synthwave. And, with such a versatile style, it’s no wonder he has over 17,000 followers on Soundcloud. Maybe, you’ll be his next fan?

Le Phunk

We first found out about Le Phunk after hearing Naroni’s Soulmates remix. At the time, we didn’t know what to expect, but Naroni’s presence on the track made quite the impression. From there, it was history. Le Phunk has released some of the most thrilling, vintage-inspired sounds we’ve heard in awhile and we can’t get enough of him.

“Every track you produce is beyond great,” said Servoz, a Soundcloud user, when speaking about one of LemKuuja’s songs. Well Servoz, we’d have to agree with you. There’s something truly special about LemKuuja and he manages to set himself apart from other producers with every new release.

Another feature for Midnight Club? That’s right. And, we wouldn’t have it any other way. In 2016, the funk-charged DJ/producer jumped on our radar with songs, The Morning and My Mind, and we haven’t looked back since.

Mr. Fahrenheit

Mr. Fahrenheit’s style falls somewhere between french house and future funk, but we’ll let you be the ultimate judge of that. Roisto

Remember Roisto’s remix of Herefore by disco band, Parcels? That was the song that put the Finnish DJ/producer on the map for us. Luckily, the artist hasn’t slowed down at all, having released a number of singles and remixes with Axtone Records. Contemporary disco-funk at its finest? We think so.

And to round out the list, we have Canadian DJ/producer, Skibblez. If you’re familiar with Australian act, 95 Royale, you’ll have no trouble acclimating to the Forest City artist’s sounds. He produces a smooth fusion of tribal disco, funk and french house that is rare for modern-day music makers.
