Listen Now: LA Rocksteady – Crown [Premiere]

After releasing his 1987 and You Don’t Need Me (Remixes) EPs, Australian DJ/producer, LA Rocksteady, had set the bar pretty high. The Velcro Records talent is already well-known for his electro-rock leads, indie-electro noise and head-banging singles, so it was hard to predict what he’d release next. Fortunately, the Melbourne native has just given us a sneak peek at his latest track, Crown, premiering today on The French Shuffle.

Simply put, LA Rocksteady’s Crown is music fit for a king. He seamlessly fuses Alius’s high-powered vocals with his authentic stadium-rock sound and french electro energy. Think Drivepilot meets SomethingALaMode in this one.

In just under four minutes, the Australian musician lays down a frenzy of electro-punk artifacts, impressing with vibrant energy, weighty kits and much more. Any fans of the bloghaus era tuning in? You won’t want to miss this.

Stream LA Rocksteady’s Crown now and download it here. Out now via Xelon Entertainment and Velcro Records.
