Ed Banger Records signing Myd, from Club cheval, was an amazing decision in our opinion. The label have been needing some “force” behind their roster, with stars such as SebastiAn and Breakbot having little to no musical input in recent times.
If you’ve never heard of Myd before, then we recommend that you listen to some of his older works such as Again and Número Uno, to get a feel for what he can create.
Now you’re up to date – we can finally delve into his new single. The sun is a footstep away from what he usually comes up with. We get some MGMT-esque vibes from the lyrics, and the instrumentation is awfully sunny. That isn’t a downside at all, however.
All Inclusive, the new EP on Ed Banger Records by Myd, is due for release sometime in October.
