Famed French label, Ed Banger Records, is finally set for its 100th release. Crazy, right? Did you know Mr. Flash started it all in 2003 with metallic funk jam, Radar Rider? And to think, nearly 14 years later, it’s still unforgettable.
Anyways, the Parisian recording house’s centennial compilation will see many familiar names and faces return to the forefront. SebastiAn, Krazy Baldhead, Cassius, So Me – the list goes on.
What’s interesting is that the record comes shortly after the release of LPs from Breakbot, Cassius, Mr. Oizo and Justice, a magical collaboration between Busy P and Mayer Hawthorne, and the signing of new producer, 10LEC6.
