As part of Chris Lake’s new remix package on the ever-evolving superstar label, OWSLA, Mr. Oizo lays down a convoluted and sickening new remix, tainted in only a way that Oizo himself could possibly imagine.

It’s been a quiet year for Quentin Dupieux. He released his sixth full length LP on Ed Banger in September last year and we were blown away by the authenticity that Oizo pulled off. It was only a matter of time, that this year, he would return and do us all a favour and release some damn music.

Oddly enough, he would release an interesting sample pack over on Splice Sounds, which is rather helpful if you’re interested in creating wacky and uncanny music. But nevertheless, this is what we was waiting for.

In typical fashion, Oizo makes ends meet with a beat that’s difficult to tame, while the cut up lyrics from the original track by Chris Lake, make the completed result, all the more satisfying.

Some real “Machyne“ vibes, don’t you agree?
