Moullinex is a Portuguese electronic musician, adamantly known for his smooth and glossy edits and original material. When this popped up in our emails, we were absolutely ecstatic. It’s not anything out of the ordinary for Moullinex to create edits or remixes – but this kinda stuck with us.
If you haven’t heard Gil Scott-Heron’s 1974 release, Winter In America before, you’d be happy to know that it’s an extraordinary soul and jazz track – perfect for someone to make their mark on.
In this case, Moullinex is ‘that’ musician that decided to step on up and rework this masterpiece. Low and behold, we were not disappointed.
Starting off with a brisk and hazy beat, the Lisbon-based musician elaborates and brings in a host of prominent and luxurious rhythms. Apart from that, however, it’s just straight up Heaven for 6 minutes straight.
How could you go wrong exactly?
