Turbo Recordings nowadays are a full-fledged techno label, with their sub-entities such as Twin Turbo, leading the pack with pristine techno music. That wasn’t always the case though. You see, back near the beginning of Turbo, we saw releases from the likes of nu-disco fiends, Chromeo and even the likes Gesaffelstein played a part later on in the labels saga.
The 53rd release on Turbo Recordings was something quite groundbreaking honestly. Russian producer, Proxy, had released three EPs on the label, each with their differences and characteristics. But the Dance In Dark EP simply had so much more going for it.
In fact, it’s the title track that spurred many musicians of their own onto creating the roughest and hardest electro music that we’ve heard since then. There’s nothing quite like it nowadays.
