Some jaw-dropping news has escaped from the floodgates in the past 24 hours. It seems that Daft Punk and the Canadian rapper and producer, The Weeknd, may be teaming up for some sort of release soon.
Hinted in a video with Billboard not too long ago, Wendy Goldstein from the Republic Records label blatantly says that both artists are due in the studio for some sort of musical session. It is unclear, however if this session will result in either a single released from The Weeknd or Daft Punk, or some sort of album release.
Rumors however across the internet recently have been rife, explaining that Daft Punk’s next album could be R&B styled. If the studio session turns out to be true, then this could be a major possibility.
