Though the funk act publicly released hit track, Beausejour, roughly five years ago, it still holds a firm place in our music collection. Resampling CHIC’s City Lights and Cryda Luv’s Degradage, the Winnipeg native comes in with remarkably groovy sounds, filling the void with classically-inspired bass lines and cinema-funk vibes.
