Best Remixes of Justice

Without a doubt, French pair, Justice, made a significant impact on contemporary music. Bringing vintage sounds into the new era, the Ed Banger mainstays transformed a generation of listeners into french electro/indie funk/electro rock lovers & followers. With news of their third studio album coming in 2016, it’s only a matter of time that the hype started to build, so we’re going to revisit some of our findings from 2015 and highlight some our favorite remixes of their work.

Justice started off the year on a great note, performing in South Korea for the World DJ Festival. Check out a glimpse of their stellar performance here.

Fast forward a few months – we got hold of one of Justice’s unreleased tracks, Heads, which saw the duo seemingly join forces with Swedish-American rapper, Mapei. In all of their french electro-meets-rap goodness, the song impressed many, raising further questions about forthcoming work from the French disco kings.

In a week’s time, Justice will reappear for a special New Year’s Eve set in Brooklyn, New York with Gesaffelstein supporting as special guest of the night. Did you get your tickets yet? They’ll sell out quick.

So, what’s in store for 2016? The French group is set to release new work on Ed Banger Records, but dates haven’t been confirmed yet. So, in the meantime, listen to some of our favorite remixes of their music:

Let’s start off with good old St. Beethoven – honestly, I didn’t expect this MSTRKRFT-esque remix to come from him! Well done.

Okay, let’s be honest. This 8-bit track is pretty gnarly:

Soul Machine never disappoints. Tune into his godly rendition of Horsepower:

2 years ago, Savant delivered this sweet, upbeat version of Audio, Video, Disco and we’re still listening. Still.

UK act, FATHER, just released this remix of Justice’s On’n’On earlier this year.

Steige has always had a knack for laying down sinister sounds.

Other than MSTKRFT’s remix of D.A.N.C.E, this may be my favorite remix of Justice. What’s not to like?

Let’s not forget LA Riots’s remix of Tthhee Ppaarrttyy!

“Party like it’s 2007.” Right on, Our Time!

How did we miss this one? Virgin Cavalier is nothing less than brilliant.

Funky disco house remix of NewJack coming from I’m The Map!

And last, but certainly not least, MSTRKRFT:
