Canadian musicians have been spectacular as of recent! Just earlier this week, we gave you a peek at Coucheron’s remix of Hotline Bling by Drake. Now, Toronto native, Avenue, has delivered a dreamy nu disco delight in his surging release, Hot Slow Wind.
Look no further, 80s music fans – Hot Slow Wind is chockfull of vintage energy, but with a modern twist. Blending alternative rock vocals and pulsating synths with indie dance drums and glossy atmospheres, Avenue does well to bridge the gap between two very different generations of music, ultimately creating quite an impressive hit.
Enjoy this track from Avenue? Purchase it here and don’t forget to check out his remix of Lemaître’s High Tide.
