French hip-hop superstar, Feadz has been in all of the headlines recently, taking the electronic music scene by the ear. While he has just finished a new record at Redbull Studios in Paris, the Ed Banger producer has carved out time to take on some remix work as well. Bringing us back to the days of b-boying and 1980s hip hop with his latest remix, the French artist takes on Frederic De Carvalho and CS Rucker’s I-40.
The Police Records release runs parallel with the vintage sounds of old school synthesizers and drum machines, reminiscent of Feadz’s trademark approach to music. With retro vocals coming from California native, CS Rucker, the remix escalates to a whole new level, impressing us to say the least.
Want to hear the original and Rickyxsan’s remix too? We’ve also premiered the full EP, which you can find here. Show some support for Police Records and get your copy of the release.
