We’ve tuned into Pylot’s Blurred Visions and we’ve covered the producer’s single, A Race Against Time. But today, we take a look at his latest piece of work, Shadowtask, which is out now via independent Canadian label, Monstercat.
Fancy rock-driven melodies and a rush of retro-futuristic sounds? Well, that’s exactly what you can expect in Shadowtask. The lively track does well to keep listeners entertained, with buzzing artifacts and analog noises leading the way.
To be honest, the 3-minute medley is everything you’d want to see from a contemporary synthwave jam. Evolving atmospheres, electrifying 80s rhythms, and video game-esque vibes – what more could you want?
Luckily, if you find yourself looking for more, you can still check out the rest of Pylot’s Shadowtask EP, which features four other songs. We recommend listening to Locke first – it’ll be well worth your time.
For the moment though, check out Pylot’s Shadowtask and download the single here.
