Back in the days when I didn’t really know what French house was exactly, I only used to listen to the likes of Alan Braxe, Fred Falke and Daft Punk. That all changed however when I discovered FrenchHouseGod’s Great French House Tracks video series.
The videos were actually pretty cool at first. I managed to gauge an interest with artists such as Cryda Luv’, Pierre De La Touche and even The Phantom’s Revenge, who consistently to this day, continues to create some of the best French and filter house music available.
Galactik Knights was on one of these lists. Surprisingly, I thought their music was pretty catchy and pristine compared to other producers. Sadly however, they kind of faded off into obscurity never to be seen again. That is until now.
Supernova capitalizes on Galactik Knights’ ‘sound’ that they strive to stick to, with godly sampling and that old-school house sound that we struggle to see nowadays. It’s refreshing honestly hearing a track like this!
