Review: Boys Noize Records’ “Miami Noize 7”

It’s that time of the year again! For seven years now, Boys Noize Records have been setting the bar for twisted and high-octane techno and electronic music with their Miami Noize compilations. With highlights including the likes of Gold Rush’s Drop Low and Baskerville’s Checker.

So what’s in store for us this year then? Kicking off the comp, is Pilo, with Break Me Down, something thats quite toned down, compared to his collaboration with Boys Noize on Cerebral. Following on from this, bangers from the likes of Ryme, with the aptly titled Gluteus Assimus and Raito’s Aftershock make an appearance, which would be then shortly ‘killed-off’ by Salva’s edit of Silver Face by Sister City, who is known for his breathtaking edits and remixes.

It’s not all hardcore techno tunes though. We’re treated by SCNTST in the most imaginative way possible with MBeachlyfe, which his previous album, Puffer, would follow a similar suit to his recent workings here.
