2007 was what I like to call the “golden era” for electronic music. Everything felt new and fresh, and it was rare to see producers replicating other artist’s sounds and styles. It was also the same year that Daft Punk released Alive 2007, Shinichi Osawa’s Star Guitar hit #2 on the American Dance Chart, and Justice’s † came out on Ed Banger Records. What a fantastic time to live, right?
