Quite awhile ago, we came across this amazing list of french electro artists on Reddit! It made us think of all of the greats over the years – DJ Mehdi, Yuksek, Daft Punk, Kolt13, Justice, and more. So, we’ve decided to compile a french touch list of our own, which will continuously be updated. Check out these fantastic artists below and send us new submissions here:

Well. This title is wrong, these are only French artists. Brodinski is doing techno and trap mainly inspired by Atlanta Trap music. Boston Bun is doing house music, it’s not a secret that he’s clearly inspired by Detroit 80’s techno and house music. Gesaffelstein is doing techno, his biggest influence is Dopplereffekt (he got his name from their album Gesamtkunstwerk). It’s clearly the beginning of techno in Detroit and some German electro pre-history like Kraftwerk.
These are only a few examples. You can move out a lot of name like Carte Blanche, Mr. Oizo.
All these are French artists, all of them didn’t take part in the French touch movement.
Believe me, I’m French.
the 1st wave 95-99 was the best . the last classic french touch records were “running/most wanted” and “together.” (oh, and that buffalo bunch remix of that crap band whos name iv forgotten.)……. the ed banger/justice/uffie scene was a different sound/vibe with the same name.
also bob sinclar should be here too. paradise is a classic album, despite the cheesy crap he released afterwards. and if your gonna include non french artists, what about the problem kids?…..im feeling nostalgic, think ill listen to the super discount album and sunshine people all night
