Created in July 2013, Soundtrack Of The Youth is run by a 24 year old Norwegian girl currently doing her graduate studies in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is very passionate about house, dance-pop, indie and electronica, and likes to keep herself updated on new songs in these genres especially. She says, “we live in an amazing era of music, there is so much to explored and enjoyed!”
She likes to make long playlists that function as kind of a soundtrack in her life. In other words, she can listen to songs that define the present, and at a later point, those same songs will remind her of memories, moods and feelings from the past. She loves the idea that music can define a certain time in life, like a soundtrack.
She is happy to say that she has daily readers from every continent of the world: “it is so much fun that we all can share a common passion for music, across different nationalities, cultures and languages.”
She finds most of her music through Soundcloud, various Youtube channels, other music blogs or through the artists themselves.
