Nearly seven years ago, Uffie and Pharrell Williams teamed up in electro-pop punk song, ADD SUV. Feeling old yet? We sure are.

The lead single from her debut album, Sex, Dreams and Denim Jeans, went on to smash the UK charts, featuring for several weeks on dance and independent rankings. Upon time of release, the three-minute track was also accompanied by a slew of remixes, including rinses from Armand Van Helden and Hudson Mohawke.

One remix, however, gained quite a bit of traction, though it wasn’t part of the official release. Who were the masterminds behind the popular rework? None other than French electronic music duo, Indo Silver Club.

Avid Daft Punk followers will certainly be able to appreciate this, with the group having taken inspiration from their 1997 hit, though the release falls into the indie-electro arena. In no time at all, the Nancy-based producers energize Uffie’s single, delivering a wave of self-described “electro horrorcore.”
