La Bombe Act, Surrender, Returns with Voyage EP

Though funky duo, Surrender, took a short break from the music world, they’ve returned in stunning fashion this week. Just in time for La Bombe’s 30th release, the pair have laid down a three track medley of nu disco and electro vibes. Think you’re ready for this?

Titled Voyage, the talented act’s latest release brings together a brilliant blend of dark electro, orchestral elements, and indie dance noise. What more could you want? It’s almost as if the end of 2016 is the new 2007.

Leading with ambient single, Centaur, Surrender bridges the gap between thought-provoking melodies and a menacing low-end – very similar to that of French producer, DANGER. Though the release takes a slow approach during the build-up, it still pushes the limit, ushering listeners directly into the next two electric anthems.

While the latter track catches us somewhere in between musical bliss and chilling euphoria, Gynoid introduces heavier sounds, with french electro and outrun accents integrated. Just tune in for yourself:

Lastly, Surrender finishes with Wind Dancer, an eclectic mix of electrifying bass lines, distorted synths, and driving kits. Listen to Los Angeles-based group, Oliver? Then, you’ll certainly love this one.

All in all, Surrender’s return to music is nothing less than impressive and we can’t wait to see what’s next. Download Voyage EP here, which is out now via London-based label, La Bombe, and show your support for the two producers.
