Aritus and Fibre Announce 2016 East Coast USA Tour

If you are looking for some contemporary French House, you can do no better than the rapidly rising Future Funk scene.  Spun off from Vaporwave in 2012, the genre is supplanted in the roots of French House by incorporating “70’s, 80’s, and 90’s disco/funk/r&b sounds with the addition of editing, chopping/screwing, and adding new sounds to create new music” (shoutout to r/futurefunk for the formal writeup!).

Future Society Collective is at the forefront of the rising genre, featuring a colorful roster that includes Beerlover, Night Tempo, and Amherst.

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, the label is gearing up for their first official tour featuring head honcho Aritus in addition to Fibre in support of their recent collaborative release Virtues EP.   They will be hitting up a number of locations along the east coast including New York City, Boston, and New Haven.  Joining them on tour include Tendencies, Camino 84, DJ Clickbait, ehirobo, and more!

Check out their wonderfully edited tour announcement video below.
