Best Remixes of LCD Soundsystem

Since 2001, LCD Soundsystem have graced our stereos and record players with top-notch releases, bombarding us with hits, such as Dance Yrself Clean, All My Friends, Daft Punk Is Playing At My House, and many more. Today, we take a look back at some of those tracks – but in a different light – showcasing some of the best remixes of the Brooklyn-based group. Check them out below:

You Wanted A Hit (Soulwax Remix)

Of course, we had to start this list with one of the best acts – Soulwax. The kings of remixing lay down a heart-wrenching buildup before dropping audaciously into six minutes of ensuing carnage. It’s a big one. Download it here.

I Can Change (Tiga Remix)

I Can Change is a very uplifting and retro track, and the single resides on LCD’s last LP, This Is Happening. What happens when Turbo Recordings’s Tiga gets his hands on the record? Well, a dark and sinister banger is what we get. Take a listen below and get your copy of the remix.

North American Scum (Kris Menace Remix)

Bringing a different change of pace, Germany’s Kris Menace dishes out a retro-funk slice of electronica. Sit back, get nostalgic, and download the remix.

Tribulations (Lindstrøm Remix)

Though Lindstrøm has been dazzling us with new music lately, his musical number from 2006 still holds a place in our hearts, showcasing his tremendous versatility as a producer – even ten years from its release. Tune in below and don’t forget to download the track.

Drunk Girls (Holy Ghost! Remix)

Lastly, we have one of DFA’s own, Holy Ghost!, who came in with a sensational remix of LCD’s Drunk Girls. Featuring on one of LCD’s most recent albums, Drunk Girls (Holy Ghost! Remix) meshes the synth-pop duo’s unique sound with the flair of the original track. Check it out below and get your copy here.
