Just last week, Czech funk fiend, Mr. Moustache, came in with a tasteful remix of Akvamen’s piano-driven ballad, When I Get Higher. The 80s rework highlights a different side of the European talent, with previous releases like Sunday Good and Ke Mně Blíž receiving more of a disco-pop rinse.
Creating a polished 80s feel and soothing vibe, Mr. Moustache gives Akvamen’s original more character, injecting twinkling synths and quintessential vintage sounds – all while reinterpreting Kristyna Styblikova’s vocals.
