As Ed Banger Records gears up for a massive 2016, Boston Bun is ensuring we do not forget the remainder of 2015 with his new release Paris Groove. Boston Bun has had an extremely active year, releasing multiple EPs in his Just For Freaks series in addition to touring heavily all around the world with Busy P, but found time to cut an additional release before the year is up.
Joining Boston Bun on the track is Grammy nominated artist Mayer Hawthorne, who has previously collaborated with Chromeo, Aston Shuffle, and Detroit Swindle in addition to multiple solo albums. Mayer Hawthorne is no stranger to Ed Banger Records, featuring on SebastiAn’s album Total on the song Love in Motion.
Paris Groove is arguably Boston Bun’s most upbeat release yet, perfectly matching Mayer Hawthorne’s soulful lyrics. Named Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ earlier in the month, Boston Bun and Mayer Hawthorne join forces to create a perfectly blended throwback.
