As Gesaffelstein ends his live tour to bring us new dark techno infused tracks, Madame has risen to satisfy our craving for that aggressive, game changing sound with his new EP Perc99. The EP is Madame’s second release on Boys Noize Records, who in 2014 released the widely supported ‘Shuffle’ with the massively underrated ‘Gigabytes’. Previously featured on GND and Blood Music, Madame has made his presence widely known in the French techno scene.
Title track Perc99 is a never ending assault on the eardrums with a relentless drum pattern. Overheat is eerily reminiscent of SebastiAn’s classic Motor EP, heavily indebted to its’ slow builds and powerful percussion. The final track, Glory, plays out as a slowed down version of his 2013 track Voltage, down to the use of the same vocal samples, but still maintains a consistent pulsating beat.
With support from label heads Jimmy Edgar and Destructo as well as widely known producers including Dillon Francis and Dave Clarke, Madame is poised to become a mainstay and a regularly featured artist on The French Shuffle.
