There’s just something so magnetising about the members of Club cheval… Panteros666 released Clear, featuring luscious vocals from Woodkid and now Sam Tiba’s been raised from the dead with a new EP. It’s just too much for me to handle at the moment honestly…
Still Breathing. Captivating isn’t it? The first track on the EP, appears to somewhat resemble a heart monitor, starting at a slow pace, before accelerating into U Just Have To Be U, a top-heavy electronic track bringing out the best in Sam Tiba.
The best track however though, is Sunshine Pulse, featuring a smooth “overlapping” by Amsterdam-based producer, SirOJ. A riveting 5 minute track in my opinion, before cascading into the title track, Not Dead Yet, which kind of “explodes” in your face after the first few opening seconds – groovy. The last track puts you in the sky with the angels, that being Amor Fati, a lost love affair between ambient music and techno.
