Having been released via Fina Records, which claims to “have become one of the most essential and respected house imprints of its time”, “Crushed Ice” stays true to the label’s unconventional approach to dance music that delves into deeper and more soulful sounds than the monotonous bleeps and bloops found in today’s clubs.

Not to mention, MAM consists of house legend Miguel Campbell and Matt Hughes, an undeniably dynamic duo. Their entire EP “Modern Heat” deserves recognition as well; tracks “Sunset Funk” and of course “Modern Heat” give “Crushed Ice” a vibrant and lively bed to rest on.
