Artist of the month, Tom Andersson, is the gentleman behind the Waveshaper project and he just caught us today with a brand new release.
In fact, we learned that he unveiled just one part of new project, Magnatron, which is set for official release on July 14th via NewRetroWave Records. What’s really interesting is that the project comes in the form of a compilation album, which will feature a number of both established and upcoming retro-wave artists.
With the forthcoming release, the New-York based record label will continue to serve as one of the premiere synthwave hubs, promoting the best in the emerging retro-wave scene and we believe that it’ll have a major impact on electronic music (as a whole) this summer.
