page-image-1121

Oizo’s back to his old tricks again with his new album The Church, blending his signature beats with some new and unpredictable sounds to make this album one the best albums to be released this year.

Bear Biscuit explodes the album off its hinges in the beginning foreshadowing whats to come later on, Ham is a fast paced synth-frenzy which will blow your mind time and time again, Machyne is like that annoying ringtone that everyone has but you can’t stop listening to it for time and time again, iSoap is one of the slower-paced songs on the album with a notably superb guitar riff featuring throughout the track, Torero is the Oizo we all know and love as he brings the beats and drops down hard on this track, The Church is the magnum opus of the album, featuring Oizo’s trademark computerized voice it tells an alluring story of a group of friends on their ‘pilgrimage’ to The Church, amongst the computerized voice the synth’s and bass collaborate to make this one of the best songs to come out this year.
