On September 29th, 2014, French electro pop and disco-tronic band, Yelle, released their third studio album, Complètement Fou. Out via American label, Kemosabe Records, the album features 13 stunning tracks, covering genres from nu disco and funk to deep disco and electro pop.
Following up on the recent album release, the trio (Yelle, GrandMarnier, and Tepr) have also planned a tour of the United States and Canada, which is set to launch in Boston, Massachusetts on October 9th at Paradise Rock Club. Other tour cities include Washington DC, Toronto, Portland, Los Angeles, and more! See below for the entire tour schedule:
The release itself is pretty magnificent – each track introduces a new element to the already established, dance-funk sound of the French band. While some of the album maintains a light & casual atmosphere, like Nuit de baise I and Florence en Italie, other sections, like Complètement Fou and Ba$$in, reside in the club realm.
