ZZT may appear to be some sort of cryptic group, who have some small cult following but no. In fact, Turbo Recordings label head, Tiga and German techno producer Zombie Nation are behind one of the most fascinating EP’s I’ve possibly stumbled across.

Partys Over Los Angeles runs rife with berserk beats which are enough to drive you crazy, absolutely perfect for a club DJ set! The two remixes on the EP come courtesy of Duke Dumont and Jon Convex. Duke Dumont’s remix being quite stripped down, yet intriguing to listen to seeing how he’s evolved from tracks like these, to tracks like Got U and Need U (100%). Jon Convex’s remix however, is a much more underground sound altogether with more UK techno based influences.
